Walmart have quietly turned into an e-commerce and logistics powerhouse.
The biggest driver? Online sales.
Walmart’s global e-commerce revenue jumped 22% year-over-year, with U.S. online sales alone rising 24%, the fastest growth in the retail sector. Their pickup & delivery program has now reached over 4,600 stores, giving them a reach even Amazon can’t match.
In short: Walmart has become the country’s grocery store, delivery app, and online marketplace, all at once. Good time to start selling you product at Walmart Marketplace.
IMMIGRATION
Ontario Shuts Down a Major Skilled Trades Stream
It has suspended the OINP Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream and is returning every single application in that program.
Why?
A government review found too much fraud and misrepresentation in applications. The stream was being misused, and Ontario couldn’t reliably confirm who actually qualified.
So they hit reset:
No new applications
All current files returned
Fees refunded
If someone still wants to apply through OINP, they’ll have to choose a different stream and submit a new Expression of Interest.
Simple takeaway:
Ontario didn’t end immigration, they ended one stream that was being abused and will likely rebuild it from scratch. I feel bad for all the genuine applicants affected, I hope you will find another stream soon, STAY STRONG!
